This world system has always had a way of trying to remove God's hand from things that mean the most. Marriage is at the center of God's creation and the pattern set by God. Jesus said, "What God has joined together, let man not separate" (Matthew 19:6). We ignore this admonition of Jesus to our great peril.

God's plan for his creation has not changed. Marriage is not our institution to change. It belongs to God alone. The blessing of God will evaporate as we remove God's guiding hand from our lives. This is true for an individual and for a nation. Those who struggle with God's ways are given the means of repentance. Repentance is turning back to God. A truly repentant person will not mock God's ways. Blessing will enter the lives of all who submit to God. And this blessing will then spread to cover our land.
