We all know that mirrors provide us with a reflection, but our pets also provide us with a reflection. The difference is that mirrors reflect back to us what is external - our face, our hair, our perceived physical flaws; our pets, however, reflect back to us what is internal - our stress, our anxiety, our anger, our intolerances, our excitement & joy, our calm, and even our internal physical state.
