We discuss tension within The Fugees in the leadup to Lauryn Hill going solo, Robert Glasper’s (one-sided?) feud, the theme-specific marketing & rollout of the era, and how Lauryn bowed out of the industry when she was on top - much to the chagrin of the industry & the public. Plus, a discussion on Lauryn Hill’s post-Miseducation years and her “mis” reputation as a performer.
