If you're a horror fan like myself then you absolutely love Stephen King!  Kathy Bates as Annie Wilkes was phenomenal! But do you know the rumored inspiration behind our fanstruck nurse? Was none other than Genene Jones.  Genene Jones, who, in 1985,set fear into the hearts of every mother-to-be in her home state of Texas for being infamously convicted of the murders of infants under her care.  Authorities suspect she may have killed as many as 60 infants and children during her time as a nurse in the 1970s and 1980s.
