Going back to Genesis, Adam and Eve, the serpent, the first disobedience. What does that mean now? Why are we so easily deceived? Why is self-control so hard? 

Friends, satan wants to keep us deceived. If you find yourself believing the lies of the enemy, pray for the Holy Spirit to open your eyes to them, to speak truth to you. He will answer those prayers.
