In this teaching Pastor Bill teaches about the launch of the early church as Jesus prepares His followers for the mission ahead. After His resurrection, He appears to the disciples, promises the Holy Spirit, and calls them to be His witnesses to the ends of the earth. Jesus then ascends into heaven, and the disciples return to Jerusalem united in prayer and full of expectation. While they wait, Matthias is chosen to replace Judas, setting the stage for all that is about to unfold.
