Big Idea - Jesus is risen from the dead and He reveals Himself to those who seek Him as Lord and savior! So what's next? What are the ultimate implications of the resurrection? His kingdom has come and those who are His followers enter into His Kingdom. Do we simply live the good life? Or is there more? If Jesus has risen from the dead what are the implications for those who are His followers and even for those who are not?

Those who were His followers, continue as His disciples, but now the extent of Jesus' Lordship becomes even more apparent! Jesus has risen from the dead and He has been given all authority - He is the Sovereign ruler over everything in heaven and on earth. He is King and His kingdom has come! Therefore, we are to worship Him as Lord and Sovereign King over all. He is worthy of such worship because He is God. But, if He is worthy of our highest worship and praise, then it is right that the world should also worship Him. So, He calls His followers to continue the Galilean mission - to preach the Gospel of the Kingdom, inviting others to follow Him as Lord and master, and teaching them what it really means to follow Him according to how He commanded and instructed them to live. Finally, since He is the resurrected Lord He can promise His daily presence with us! We are never alone and He will give us all that we need to succeed in the mission He has set before us!
