The Western mind often struggles to rightly understand what the Bible is communicating because we don't understand the cultural nuances of the ancient people it was writing about and to. This often means we impose modern Western culture into an ancient Middle Eastern context and it can really mess up our conclusions. This is the conversation we're continuing on Foundations today.
