Drew returns one last time to confront Miyazaki's (current) final movie: The Wind Rises. The usual sexism and anti-pacifism that has been flourishing near the end of Miyazaki's career is back in full-force, this time coupled with an ugly, plotless slog about a guy who loves planes. So expect many brief escapist discussions of 70s Pinku, Neon Genesis Evangelion, The Thing prequel, and Herzog's pitiful bowl of leaves.
