  • UFC Fight Night 121 recap — In the Sydney main event, former heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum defeated Marcin Tybura via decisive decision. Also on the card, Belal Muhammad upset Tim Means, and Frank Camacho and Damien Brown put on one of the best fights all year.
  • Colby Covington and Fabricio Werdum incident — The pair of UFC contenders had an altercation just days ahead of this past weekend’s UFC event. Werdum threw a boomerang at Covington, who later called the cops on the Brazilian. Werdum is now being charged for common assault.
  • UFC Fight Night 122 preview — In the UFC Shanghai main event on Saturday morning, former middleweight champ Michael Bisping returns to action less than a month after losing the title to Georges St-Pierre against rising contender Kelvin Gastelum.
  • Volkan Oezdemir’s arrest — The UFC light heavyweight contender was arrested in Florida Saturday night for aggravated battery stemming from an alleged August incident at a bar. It isn’t clear at the time what this means in regards to a planned title fight vs. champ Daniel Cormier.
