A new fighters association (Mixed Martial Arts Athlete Association) was announced on Wednesday and Sam Caplan and Jason Floyd break down the announcement on this week’s The MMA Insiders Podcast.

Sam and Jason discuss multiple aspects of the Mixed Martial Arts Athlete Association including former Bellator MMA Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney being involved with the association. (Note: Bjorn Rebney is scheduled to join Jason on next week’s episode of the podcast).

Also on this episode of the podcast, the guys are joined by attorney Lucas Middlebrook and current UFC fighter Leslie Smith. Middlebrook and Smith both explained why they are no longer involved with the Professional Fighters Association (PFA) and give their thoughts on the Mixed Martial Arts Athlete Association.
