As part of an upcoming Stanislaus Homeless Alliance retreat, an official from the first community in the United States to end chronic homelessness will talk about how it accomplished that. The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development certified Bergen County, New Jersey, in 2017 as the first community in the nation to end chronic homelessness.
