This week, we’re talking about The Monkey (Hulu), the totally unhinged horror comedy from Oz Perkins and Stephen King.

But first, we kick things off with a spoiler-free review of the movie everyone is talking about — Weapons (0:07). It’s wild, it’s brutal, and it might just be the best horror film of the year. 

Then, we get into The Monkey (09:18) — adapted from Stephen King’s short story, this is the polar opposite of Perkins’ last feature, Longlegs. Instead of slow-burn dread, we get full-on Looney Tunes kills, and a demonic drum-playing toy monkey you’ll never forget.
