Rock and Roll Flashback Podcast

The Moody Blues, Part 2

Listen Later

Welcome to Rock & Roll Flashback!  I'm Jumpin' John McDermott, and today we will focus on another British Invasion band to hit America's shores in 1964:  The Moody Blues, Part 2.  I will focus on the "Mark Two" version of the band from 1967 to 1977 and their core seven albums.  In 1967, joining Mike Pinder, Ray Thomas, and Graeme Edge were two new members:  John Lodge, their bassist friend from El Riot who was now finished with his education, and Justin Hayward, formerly of the Wilde Three. This Podcast is the companion Podcast to Episode 10, The Moody Blues, Part 1.
