Curiosity Killed The Cat

The Moon Is Everywhere

Listen Later

Author John Steinbeck helped the American war effort by writing an anti Nazi novel. The reviews were favourable but it's widely regarded as not one of his best. Little did he know that the book's reception in Europe lead to a daring clandestine publishing organisation all over the continent. Titled The Moon is Down the book's enormous cult following in Europe was only discovered fifty years later and after the writer's death.

Where Curiosity Killed the Cat differs from the saturated genre of true crime is that it focuses more on mystery than investigation procedural. A lot of the cases covered do not have solid conclusions and its the fascination with the inexplicable that drives this series.
