  • #30 Case Kenny: I Actually Interviewed Him
Yes. I interviewed Case Kenny. If you don't know who Case Kenny is, you have been living under a rock. If you know him the way I know him, it is through his top 50 podcast on iTunes - New Mindset, Who Dis. That alone was enough to make this the most nervous I have ever been administering an interview. It was also the most exciting interview for me.  As the conversation developed I could not help but feel a sense of inspiration to attack my life with intense purpose.  I am so excited to share this interview as I am confident it will bring a similar sense of inspiration to you!

  • #29 Evan Price - Artist Collective: Collaboration > Competition
I had a chance to sit down with the founder of Artist Collective, Evan Price.  Artist Collective is a music consulting company with the goal of taking artists from being a part-time musician to a full-time business. Evan has built this business around on personal branding, time management, building superfans, and ways to monetize based on the specific skills of the artist. He has an incredible story of how he got to where he is now and I hope you all find it as interesting as I did!

  • #28 Patience & Self Esteem
Patience seems to be a buzz word for young people because we are so used to an automated lifestyle where things happen quickly. While patience is incredibly important for success I think it is critical that we pay attention to self esteem and how it relates to this equation as well. In this episode I push the idea that patience cannot be deployed without a positive self esteem. I believe that the two hold a strong relationship and I share real life examples to prove this point.

Austin and I talked through his upbringing in Chicago (including all of the bumpy patches) to where he is now and how he got there.

  • #25 A Conversation with my 20 yr. old self
I had a conversation with someone a bit younger than me last week that pushed me to share this message. I saw the same unharnessed energy in this particular person that I had when I was about 20. Although I am only 22 - the amount of experience, insight and perspective that I have gained since graduating college has been HUGE. I wanted to help this person channel their energy in a more productive way that would really help them in the long run. The lessons that I was trying to share were so important to me that I felt I should display them on The Morning Hustle.

  • #23 The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday
When it comes to solving problems... I am a firm believer in looking inward before you look outward. This is a pattern that I picked up on while reading about the Navy Seals in "No Easy Day" by Mark Owen. The Navy Seals are one the most highly trained United States Military forces. While the military and our everyday lives / hustles are very different; I believe there are underlying practices that are convertible for business, entrepreneurship and life!

  • #22 Encourage Positive & Eliminate Negative
In this episode I talk about my battle for positive action and how I fight off negative thoughts. I think it is so important to be aware that everyone has negative thoughts. You cannot deny that you have them. The topic of discussion is how we deal with these negative thoughts. What can we do to minimize negativity and encourage positive action?

  • #21 Choose Happiness
Sometimes we can get lost in the midst of all the responsibilities we juggle. It is so easy to get caught up in your hustle to the point where you lose sight of who you really are. It is important to take a step back and consider your methodology for success. Are you the type of person where you try to take on as many things as possible? Do you find yourself feeling an unhealthy amount of stress? If this is true for you, I would encourage making your happiness a priority. In this episode of The Morning Hustle I explain how important this commitment to happiness is and how to fully get there.
