Nanotech/Biotech/Refinery Safety, Retaliation Against Public Agency Whistleblowers & South Africa Solidarity Action KPFA Pacifica WorkWeek will have an update on the end of the AC Transit ATU 192 cooling off period We will look at the growing health and safety crisis with nanotech materials and the lack of oversight and protection in the biotech, nanotech and  refineries in California. WorkWeek will also look at systemic retaliation against public worker whistleblowers who are responsible for oversight of public agencies funds and financial transparency. WorkWeek will discuss  the ILWU Local 10 bay area labor boycott of South Africa cargo in 1984 with some of the participants and what workers face today in South Africa.
