The Most Beneficial Resolution 

Phil. 3:12-21

Paul:

1. Acknowledged that he was not alone in this attempt. 
2. Admitted he had not attained perfection.
3. Kept a short memory of the past.
4. Focused on what came next.
5. Worked towards a goal.
6. Recognized the primary goal.

 Those not working toward the upward call of God:

1. Work against God's redemptive plan.
2. Have a different destiny.
3. Live for physical gratification in the moment.
4. Are satisfied with being unacceptable. 
5. Can't see beyond the physical.

 People who are ready for the call of Christ:

1. Belong to the Kingdom of God.
2. Are waiting on Jesus to return.
3. Are expecting to be changed.
4. Believe Jesus will do this. 

Only one resolution is necessary: In 2026, I will work to be ready for the upward call of Jesus.

 If you are ready, you will:

1. Be in a saving relationship with God. 
2. Be morphing into the likeness of His Son. 
3. Be doing Kingdom work for His glory.
4. Be looking for the return of Jesus.
