Paul doubles down on the truth that God is in charge of salvation—we are the clay, and He is the Potter. I consider both perspectives: the Calvinist view that emphasizes God’s sovereign work, choice, and grace, and the Arminian view that highlights human free will and God’s foreknowledge.
