Did you know that you have one of the most important jobs in the world? I’m not talking about your position at work.

I’m talking about your role as a parent. Moms and dads are given a sacred mandate. And we should consider our role as nothing less than a divine appointment from God.

Titus 2, verses 6 through 8 says: “Encourage the young men to be self-controlled. In everything, set an example by doing what is good. In your teaching show integrity, seriousness and soundness of speech that cannot be condemned.”

As you carry out your duties as a parent, remember the One who appointed you. He said, “In everything, set an example by doing what is good.” Yours is a very high calling!
