We all line up to vote as the occasion arises and most of us consider this our civic duty. But are we co-conspirators in a scam played upon ourselves? We the people vote in a political representative confident that this is the right thing to do and perhaps the only thing to do. After-all, someone has to be in charge. We are confident the person who takes political office is a legitimate candidate and a legitimate office holder, but is he or she justified in taking office. There is a question we are never asked and until answered we cannot confirm or deny the person ruling us truly is justified in taking office.
