The most powerful method of teaching is leading by example. This differs drastically in terms of how we think we should focus on using our words to communicate. As a child, my parents would always tell me not cuss, yet they would often swear in front of me themselves. So, what was the lesson I learned? Swearing was a privilege for adults, and I could cuss if there were no adults around. I appreciate the lesson my parents tried to teach me because they wanted a better life for me, but it is difficult to teach anything outside of your example. Ever since I became a father, I have a similar opportunity to lead by example, and it is harder then than it looks! I hope you enjoy this power thought, and I appreciate your feedback!
