Coming all the way from the Dominican Republic, we talked with Amarillis about her life and the impact she has made in Puerta Plata! What an amazing Woman! The people of Javillar call her the Mother of Teressa of their village. She has helped so many gain homes, cleaned the village up, given opportunities, taught the kids English, and just cared for so many for the past 15 years!

My wife Michaela and I were a part of the International Language Program. We lived here for 4-5 months and taught English and helped out doing humanitarian work.
