Jesus welcomes the large crowd who gathered around him and he healed them. After 3 days of remaining with Jesus, they became hungry. In response, Jesus miraculously multiplies bread and fish to feed the crowd. This passage foreshadows the future Messianic Banquet where Jesus will be united to His Bride in the coming Kingdom of God.
