Hi Mountain friends! This is Jim Manning, producer of the Mountain. I wanted to talk with you as we start a new year together. We are thankful for each one of you. You have joined us during 2016 from all across America and from countries around the world. We now have over 96 episodes available for you.
We've made some changes to make the Mountain better for you. If you have opened the app recently, you know we've redesigned the homepage. You now have easier access to all features on the app. Podcast fans can subscribe to the Mountain at the iTunes store.
The Bible is available in text and audio in two places within the app. You can click the Bible icon on the home page or you can open the Bible tab along the bottom of the screen. This tab also opens a daily reading program.
On the production side, we have great new episodes ready for you over the coming weeks. We upload new episodes twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays. (Apple users, please allow post notifications when you download the app in the iTunes store. That way you will be advised of the release of new episodes.)
And, a special announcement! The Mountain has it's first guest speaker, my good friend, Pastor Dan Bruce from Faith Assembly Church. Pastor Dan will share an incredibly important message for men- Grace Alone! You'll love it! You get a short teaser of his full message (2 min) on the Mountain and a link to listen to the full message. Here's our 2017 prayer for you: Father in Heaven, Bless every Mountain listener. Give them grace, strength this new year to be excellent in all they do. Build their courage and calm their fears. Protect them from evil and misfortune. Help all of us to be light and hope for those You bring our way. In Jesus' name, Amen.
