3-Negative Warnings (V 15-16)

1: Make sure you don’t miss God’s great grace

2: Don’t let bitterness take root

3: Don’t fall into the Esau syndrome

…for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son.

Consequences (V 17): Long term impact of compromise

To Which Mountain Are You Coming (V 18-24)?

1: Mountain of Frustration (V 18-21): Mountain of Legalism

2: Mountain of Joy (V 22-24): Eternal Kingdom of God.

Ways to Reject the Joy Gift:

1: Treat Jesus lightly

2: Legalism

3: Fail to trust God
