Welcome to the podcast series of The Sound Outside, a project launched at the end of March 2020 as the world enters lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Sound Outside is a collaborative project curated by Valeria Caputo and Sara Lenzi. Sound designers from all over the world documented the changes in the soundscapes of their cities, recording from outside their windows. These soundscapes are collected on a map and shared through the sounDesign platform.
