Welcome to the first episode of 'The Still Small Voice', a space within The Muddy Cross where I share my personal stories of everyday life and how God speaks through them.

In Restored & Renewed, I tell the story of a wooden heart - born from a message at church and shaped in my workshop - that God then used to reveal His love and renewal. 

Like the heart, our lives carry marks and scars, yet in God's workshop there is always room for repair and restoration.

Welcome back to The Muddy Cross - a space for honest, umfiltered conversations about faith, family and following Christ. Together we explore how God's grace meets us in life's grit and what it really means to walk with Him day by day.

In this episode, The Great Humbling, we pick up where Episode 4 left off: moving our business onto a new premisis and setting up the land. That same season brought huge changes - we chose yo home educate our boys, navigated grief and loss, downsized from a house into a touring caravan and faced the challenges of lockdown during covid.

Through it all, God was stripping us bare, refining us and teaching us dependence on Him. From downsizing and letting go of materialism, to rediscovering simplicity, nature and faith, we began a deeper spiritual journey marked by questions, humility and God's grace.
