If you ask many people what happened on November 22, 1963 in Dallas Texas, they'd know that was the day that U.S. President John F. Kennedy was assassinated. What many people won't know is that a Dallas Police Officer was also murdered that day trying to apprehend the assassin. His name was J. D. Tippit.
