Season 1, Episode 2: The Murder of Cindy Ray

July 23rd, 1987 was supposed to be an exciting day for Cindy Ray. She was nearly 38 weeks pregnant and, all going well, her obstetricans appointment that afternoon would be her last before giving birth. She went about her day, making her husband Sam’s lunch before he biked to work, and dropping her 2 year old son, Luke, at the babysitters before doing drop-offs to her Tupperware customers. Cindy was trying to get everything done before her 2:00pm appointment, and she made it just in time. After her appointment, she left the medical center and started walking towards her car, but she never made it. Her husband looked for her but Cindy was nowhere to be found. Hours later, a woman splashed with blood and holding a newborn arrived at the hospital claiming she gave birth in her car.
