The hit Netflix show Bridgerton, as well as its spinoff series Queen Charlotte, have been doing some pretty cool things with the music score for the shows. Given that these shows take place in England during it's Regency period, the expected classical music that this period is known for is given a twist by blending it with the contemporary pop songs that we all know in love. This mashup between pop music and classical is also used in a lot of genius ways by the show-runners to invoke certain feelings or to get a some subtle messages across to the audience (like they do with Queen Charlotte).

Even though music supervisors have been doing these sorts of things for years, we are here for it because we at Educate Your Earbuds can't get enough of these crossover songs and we want to share our takes about them with you!
