Fikile is a creative multi-hyphenate seeking to tell stories through various mediums and self-expression. Fikile’s journey began in South Africa, where she was born and raised. Her parents nurtured and supported her creative passions, and Fikile eventually left to study and pursue her dreams of filmmaking around the world. Venturing into New York and now London, Fikile has utilized and collaborated with her fellow creatives on her first film project. She scripted, directed, and edited her debut short film Convictions of an Empath, a romantic drama about the complications of youthful love and courage. It was screened at the Raindance Film Festival showcase at the Prince Charles Cinema in Northern Ireland on the 28th of June, 2024. Convictions of an Empath is available to watch on Fikile’s YouTube channel.
