Pymatuning Lake is a beautiful spot for a day trip. You can stop at the spillway to see the giant carp, the infinite water fowl, or take a ride down the road to the Pymatuning Deer Park and feed a whole slew of animals. However, this fun tourist stop has some hidden legends surrounding it. The first says the ship of a Castilian Princess ran aground in the Pymatuning Swamp. Unable to remove the ship, the passengers were never seen again. The other legend is much darker, hinting at the trapped soul of a young girl that drowned in the lake. Are these legends true?
