Members Reviews:
Agatha is always a good read
Have read and seen this several times. Always a good read, as are all of her books. Sadly, the narrator does not capture Poirot very well, neither the accent nor the essence of the character. The same can be said for most of the characters. I just wish there had been more depth.
Not the best read
Another great story by Agatha Christie, but the accent by the narrator are as good as many in the vast Christie library.
The Mysterious Affair at Styles
I love Agatha Christie's work, but was unimpressed by the reader. B.J. Harrison read expressively, but his Poirot accent must've been inspired by Peter Sellers' Inspector Clouseau! When he pronounced "voila" as "VIOLA," I had to throw up my hands.
BJ Harrison is a great narrator for Poirot
I first heard The Mysterious Affair at Stiles on the Classic Tales Podcast--am super glad that it was available on Audible. Love the story and really enjoy BJ Harrison as a narrator.
