In our tragic story here I tell the story of Mildren Green, a little girl living with her father in the heart of Eugene. Her father, a local Reverend, discovered her dead in her bed, with her throat cut. This brutal killing sent shock waves through the whole community both in the fact that such a young girl had been killed in such a way and that it happened to the daughter of a local religious man. Many suspects came and went with no resolution. But I have personal theory, a theory that the newspapers of the time did their best to avoid considering...
