Make Your Passion Pay You

The Myth of "Make It Look Easy" Marketing

Listen Later

Have you ever been told the following: "just let it be easy" or "oh this is so easy you just do _____." Meanwhile, it doesn't feel so easy to you and you're ready to punch that person in the face?

Do you see other people showing up and marketing on social media with so much fun, ease and enthusiasm but you can barely get one post made?!

I'm often told that I make marketing, selling and showing up on social media look easy. Although I appreciate the compliment, here's what I know to be true...

When things look "easy" it's because that person has reached a certain level of mastery.

Make no mistake: Learning something new requires time, money, energy and effort to learn before it becomes "easy". It's taken me a lifetime and a continued commitment to my craft to do so.

It's about learning a new skill set and embodying it so much that you don't have to think about it.

Ease is an artform. One that we must PRACTICE continually.

🎧  In this week's episode of Make Your Passion Pay You you'll learn:

🎙 The key to effortless "easier" marketing (spoiler alert: it's embodiment).

🎙 How to develop the endurance to learn and practice a new skill set (like selling) so that it's second nature.

🎙 How to set realistic expectations about your business building journey and give yourself permission to begin.  🎙 The art of ease and why PASSION must be at the center.
