Carl Jung believed that true freedom arises from individuation, the process of realizing one's authentic self

Jung did not use the term empath in his teachings.

I am using it as a generic term to encompass those who have a soft, sensitive, empathetic nature, are soulful, and now follow the Lord.

From a Jungian perspective, empaths can achieve personal freedom and sovereignty by learning to distinguish their own emotions from the collective unconscious or the feelings of others.

Jung's concepts suggest that empaths achieve freedom through self-awareness, establishing boundaries, and pursuing their unique path towards their authentic self.

The empath travels alone, but aloneness is not loneliness.

The empath must retreat from society as preparation to receive visions and plans.

For the Christian empath, this means, getting in touch with their own emotions and identities.

When they get clear on who they are again, they are called back out into the world to serve.

To remain in isolation would defeat the purpose of God’s work in them, which is to be a light in a lost world.

The angel of the Lord appeared to Joseph in a dream

“This is how the birth of Jesus the Messiah came about : His mother Mary was pledged to be married to Joseph, but before they came together, she was found to be pregnant through the Holy Spirit., Because Joseph her husband was faithful to the law, and yet did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly.

But after he had considered this, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream and said, “Joseph son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”

All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: “The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).

When Joseph woke up, he did what the angel of the Lord had commanded him and took Mary home as his wife.”
