Jesus gave an invitation to live a life either on a broad road or a narrow road. We don't like the word narrow, as it seems constrictive. But the paradox of the cross is that it leads to a narrow road that broadens, whereas the broad road actually constricts until it squeezes the life out of you. Which path we take determines how we will live in this life.
