The authority of Jesus is a source of comfort and strength to those who are walking the narrow road. Each person enters the narrow gate in submission to Jesus as Lord and that submission continues throughout our lives as we walk the path. The first signpost on the narrow road is addressing the importance of Jesus’ authority in our lives.
