In less than three weeks’ time, we will know who will be the 47th President of the United States. Perhaps more than at any other time in America’s 248 year history, the 5th November will be the most consequential election the United States has ever held. It will either be Republican Donald Trump, looking to be the first President since Grover Cleveland to serve non-
consecutive terms, or Democrat Kamala Harris, who could be the United States’ first female President.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan looks at the Trump v Harris Presidential campaign and asks if either will be able to reunite the country. He also looks at the British monarchy's overseas territories.

In Labour's General Election campaign, Sir Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner promised a building revolution the likes of which we haven’t seen since the 1950s. Now Labour are in office, the reality is that, despite the rhetoric and statements, Labour is no different to the Conservatives when it comes to development.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan asks if Britain has become incapable at building anything. He also looks ahead at the Conservative leadership election and the next round in the voting.

After Sir Keir Starmer and David Lammy paid a visit to the UN General Assembly last week, they have begun the work of undoing the UK's departure from the European Union and giving away a British Overseas Territory without consulting their own people and without parliamentary approval. In the past two weeks, the Prime Minister has met with President Biden at the White House, the United Nations General Assembly in New York and Brussels to meet with European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan explores if Labour are weakening Britain's place on the world stage. He also reflects on last weeks Conservative Party Conference to review the performance of the leadership candidates.

It's the Conservative Party Conference where 13,000 party faithful, business leaders, lobbyists, donors and journalists have descended on Birmingham. This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan is live from the conference analysing the Conservative leadership contest and what issues the candidates should be focusing on. He is also joined by Julian Ellacott (Chairman of the National Conservative Convention) for the latest in Conservative politics.

It has only been 79 days since Labour entered Government and, already, it feels like they are coming towards the end. Sir Keir Starmer and his senior Ministers, mired in several sleaze scandals, are losing control, which is not a good look as their Party Conference begins.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan explores at Labour's latest scandals and asks if they are creating a culture of dishonesty. He also looks at David Lammy's performance as Foreign Secretary over the past 11 weeks.

The NHS is, perhaps, the number one issue in the UK where everyone agrees there are huge problems, but nobody knows how to fix it. From its inception 76 years ago, providing universal healthcare, free at the point of use, for a population of 38 million. In just over three quarters of a century, the population has nearly doubled at 69 million, the NHS has expanded into being the fifth largest employer on the planet.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan looks at Labour's plans for the NHS and asks if they will be able to fix the health service. He also takes aim at the Government's plan for VAT on private school fees.

It is just under two months since Sir Keir Starmer led the Labour Party to their historic victory in the 2024 General Election - in that time he has made 11 U-turns. It’s almost as if Starmer told voters he would do one thing just to get elected, only for him to do the opposite now he’s in power.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan asks if Sir Keir Starmer is treating the public with contempt following a series of U-Turns. He also examines Labour's plans to solve the housing crisis in the UK.

It has been 44 days since Sir Keir Starmer and the Labour Party entered Government and we have seen some decisions being made which, had a Conservative done the same, would have been plastered across every newspaper front page.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan asks if Labour is being held to the same standards as the Conservatives were in Government. He also looks at the current state of the UK's Universities.

In the wake of the utterly tragic murder of three young girls in Southport last week, extremist elements of both ends of the political spectrum have crawled out of the woodwork to manipulate this tragedy into an excuse to push their own agenda. Whether it is the far-right or the far-left, extremism has no place in this country and all forms must be condemned.
This week on The Nathan Eckersley Podcast, Nathan looks at this weeks riots and protests across the UK and asks if policing is fair in the UK. He also analyses if the Government's latest moves are an erosion of free speech.
