Today I’m speaking to Katie Martin, she’s the new EAL Teacher. EAL stands for English as an Additional Language which means she’s perfectly placed to help students who don’t speak English as a first language.
Now I loved this episode because I got to find out where in the world Katie has travelled to, not as a tourist but for work, getting to know people in different cultures and environments, and then how that’s going to help the students at NatMatSci given the experience that Katie brings.
So let’s not waste any more time but instead come with me as we step into a conversation with the new EAL Teacher, it’s Katie Martin.

Douglas Adams Quote:
1. Anything that is in the world when you’re born is normal and ordinary and is just a natural part of the way the world works.
2. Anything that’s invented between when you’re fifteen and thirty-five is new and exciting and revolutionary and you can probably get a career in it.
3. Anything invented after you’re thirty-five is against the natural order of things.
