The world would have never known love unless God showed it to us (John 3:16). We love Him because He first loved us. The commandment for the Church is to love other saints, John 13:34. It is through this expression of love towards other saints that those who are outside the Church will see that we are Christians, John 13:35. This love is a result of living out the life we now have in Christ.
