What is opportunity?

A favorable juncture of circumstances that offers a chance to advance or make progress in personal, professional, or communal aspects. (Chat GPT)

Latent potential for something good or important to happen if recognized and capitalized on.

How does opportunity show up in our lives?

Blind luck

i.e., being born into the right family or growing up in a capitalistic culture, time and chance; Ecclesiastes 9:11-12, etc.)

Serendipity

Right place-right time, stars align, usually arising from Specialized Knowledge/Skills or a connection intersecting with a specific circumstance

Solicitation

Become a person opportunity is attracted to… and go looking for it!

Predictable/Unpredictable Circumstances (A crisis is a terrible thing to waste - treasure recovery service)

God is the creator of opportunity

He creates/orchestrates opportunities for us through blessing and favor
