The Naturolls

Part 4!

With only hours to go until the festival, our friends are deep in the forest, where they were surprised by discovering an inattentive jagged knife sentry guarding their forest camp. Will they find out what the Jagged Kinfe are really doing out here in the woods? How many of the Jagged Knife will the adventurers kill in the process? Find out in this chaotic episode!

Part 3 of our Spring Fling one-shot, two-shot, three-shots. Ah. Ah. Ah.

The party has run into the leader of the Jagged Knife in Parellas and now has to decide where their investigation should go next. Hint, it's in the title. Hot on the trail of the Jagged Knife, thanks to Circea's clever interrogations, what else will they find in the Angempes back yard?

We're BACK with part 2 of our Spring Fling one-shot with special guest GM Rianth!

The party hunts for clues about the plot on the spring festival. They find a suspicious fungril, do a little arm wrestling with an intimidating figure (who Violo is too silly to be intimidated by), and even get into some casual stabbing.

We return to (most of) the original cast for the very special Spring Fling one-shot (that, like all one-shots is actually quite a few sessions)!

In the village of Parellas, the time of the spring equinox festival is rapidly approaching, and after the disaster of the Hundred Year Peace, some of the villagers are very concerned about something similar happening here. Left without official recourse, these villagers have pooled their money to try to hire adventurers to investigate the rumors and stop any disruption the Jagged Knife has planned.

Nothing knocks a good plan off course quite like a massive fireball.

Just a few hours away from prison, two powerful spellcasters (and a cat) stepped out of the woods and derailed The Confident Three's trip to prison, and in the aftermath, there are questions that must be answered.

Like, what do we do with all of these bodies? And what's at the bottom of that nearby like? And maybe most importantly, how are we going to help Ki and free her father now?

Plus, Aryathen hosts a barbecue, and Alocrans begrudgingly gets a new outfit. And something interesting happens to the party's first loot from an item table.

All this and more on a brand new episode of... The Naturolls!

As most of our players take a long rest, we travel back in time with Almithara and Alocrans Moondown for a glimpse into their past.

That's right! You thought we weren't going to do a flashback? Of COURSE we're going to do a flashback. Who do you think we are?

The Moondown Twins had to leave their home and the royalty they were behind before their life of adventure with the Confident Three began. Here we begin to explore why.

The twins were made to duel in front of their parents and the high elf court. It was, realistically, all for show, but machinations behind the scenes (and behind each other's backs) could compromise not only the contest, but their relationship with each other.

After a disastrous meeting at Ki's, The Confident Three safely usher her out of the city and plot to wake up the next morning and get arrested...

So we flash back to the present and stay there! (I mean, sort of...)

As their prison cart rolls closer to their destination, The Confident Three find themselves with an unexpected new visitor, and they reconnect with an old friend.

Will either of these meetings help them when their convoy is attacked? Find out only on... The Naturolls!

Look, I'm going to level with you. It's really hard to schedule enough sessions to make sure we have something for you every two weeks. Players get busy. Sometimes they go on vacation or something like that.

Right now, we're waiting to run our next session of our current storyline (The Rise of the Confident Three), so we're sitting down with Aryathen the Dragonling himself, Fatewalker!

Thanks to John (which is APPARENTLY his human name) for talking with me about his history with TTRPGs, why Daggerheart feels SO different from the other stuff he's played, and what's in store for everyone's favorite lil dragon. There's a lot of stuff in here you won't get if you JUST listen to the main story, so make sure you check it out!

The meeting at Ki's shop got off to a bad start.

When she told The Confident Three "hurry over and don't be discovered," she wasn't exactly picturing the two (and a half?) dead guards they'd leave in their wake.

Still, she asks for their help. Lucky for her, The Confident Three are never without an ingenious plan.

Unlucky for all of them, definitions of "ingenious" vary WILDLY.

There's disguises and pantomime. There's Voice of Dread and potentially even one or two war crimes.

Seriously. You've just gotta hear it to believe it.

The Confident Three return for part two of their adventure!

The road to jail is long, and as their prison cart bumps along, the party rests and we FLASH BACK once again to the lead up to their fateful capture.

The night before the bar fight, The Confident Three receive a note - "Meet me at my shop across town. Don't be seen." It's the kind of correspondence they've been waiting for, one that could place them right at the heart of the unrest in Mooringsong.

The only trouble is the city is swarming with guards overnight, and they enforce a strict, no exceptions curfew.

Will they make it across town without being seen? And what would they do to any guards who did manage to spot them?

Find out on ... The Unnaturolls!
