Yesterday we lost a man who was truly bigger than life, the legendary Bill Walton.  On today’s episode we talked at length about our love of one of the greatest big men of all time, both on the basketball court and off. We shared some of the many tributes people have been posting online about him. Joe channeled Bill and imagined how he might have color commentated his ascension into the afterlife. And we briefly reminisced about the night we got to meet Bill, at his book signing in Mission Viejo in 2017. That night just over 7 years ago was very inspiring and meaningful to both of us, so much so that the next day we recorded a bonus episode of Dirty Sports solely dedicated to recapping our night with Big Red. So “throw down!” this throwback episode and enjoy it, as well as this email exchange I had with Bill.  **Absolutely no way that it’s a coincidence that when I looked down at the video clock to see how long I had been recording that it was at 4:20**
