Purchased this as a gift.

This was sent as a gift to a friend's son who is in prison. He stated "it's like all the french books I've read - mostly misery and despair"

I give it 3 stars based on his report - I haven't read it!

Beautiful book for adults

Gorgeous paintings/illustrations but not a book for kids. It's a sad complicated story.
