A new court ruling out of Germany has the climate change litigation world excited, since the court accepted the idea that large greenhouse gas emitters could be held proportionally responsible for the climate change impacts of their emissions.  That said, the court rejected making such a finding in this case.  So what happens next for the idea of corporate liability for GHG emissions?
