URLs, as comfortable as we've gotten with them, aren't exactly convenient when it comes to CTAs. "Go to blahblahblah.com and enter in coupon code half-off-these-brown-underpants for 50% off the sleekest brown underpants you'll ever buy" is really inconvenient. It would be way easier if you could say "Hey Siri, new underwear" and Siri sent you right to that advertiser's underwear store (yes, I'm also regretting this choice of example). Now imagine that advertiser owned that phrase and if you said "Hey, Siri" or "Okay, Google" or "Hey, Alexa" or "Yo, Cortana", that phrase worked across all platforms. Wouldn't that be cool as hell?
