Introduction

God promises in Jeremiah 31:31 that he would make a new covenant, not like the one made at Sinai. So, what was wrong with that covenant? Some people argue that the problem with the old covenant was that the stipulations in the law couldn’t be kept; in other words, the Jewish law was the problem, and that law needed to be changed.
