Revelation has some frightening visions that are very confusing. How are they supposed to bring us hope when it seems like everything is going to be so horrific? There is a connection between Revelation and Exodus, in that God is bringing His children out of slavery and into a new home, an eternal Promised Land. God is good. God is powerful. Even when everything seems out of control God is bringing us home.
